Saros. And to be fair, I said the same thing last year.

Rinne needs some serious rest down the stretch. He and Saros are playing well - with Saros recently playing a little better. But Pekka should only play 6-7 of the remaining 13 games. Just enough to keep him sharp. The extra work would serve Saros well to be ready for the playoffs too in case Pekka has a bad game here or there.

By the way - Turris got benched last night for a long stretch. They had Sissons centering Granlund and Smith. Not a good look for your $6MM second-line center to get demoted two games in a row. He must be better, or the Preds have a very short shelf life in the playoffs!

Paul, I'm a buffalo fan. I live there. But wow I wish all of our reports (exlucding Pachla, hes awesome) brought the same detail and analysis that you do. Recapping previous games, talking future state, and analyzing the rest of the NHL that affects your team AND how your AHL team is doing is awesome. ill keep reading just because of how great you are. His 3rd period TOI was reallllly low...but he was out there in OT and was 1st shooter (again...) in SO. Maybe Lavy trying to get him out of the funk with the SO stuff
